The Hotel Vestibul Palace is one of the most exclusive, upmarket addresses in Split. Located in the heart of Diocletian’s Palace where the imperial apartments once stood, this small boutique hotel is a fusion of classic and contemporary design. Its name derives from the Latin vestibulum, the anteroom that separated the emperor’s living quarters from the imperial courtyard. On the other side of this ancient Roman relic is the tiny square where the hotel is situated. Three small palaces, each from a different period - Romanesque, Gothic and Renaissance - were merged and reconstructed to create the property. Exposed Roman walls and brickwork enhance the interiors’ retro-minimalist designer details. Reversible silk bed covers in black, beige and taupe get turned down at night with a bonbon and the morning’s weather report placed on your pillow. Accommodation features seven luxurious rooms - two suites, three doubles and two singles - each with its own bathroom, mini bar, flatscreen satellite TV and internet connection.
