Split is a vibrant, eclectic city and we are thrilled to have it as our base for our Split & Bespoke Sailing holidays. Focused on the islands of the Central Dalmatian archipelago - Brac, Hvar and Vis - the holidays feature your choice of accommodation in Split, a private, skippered 40-ft sailing yacht and a choice of itineraries that can be tailored to include anywhere from one to seven days at sea.
A single day at sea features a day-sail to Brac Island with morning tea, gourmet picnic hamper and wine. Famed for its ancient stone quarries which supplied the white marble for Diocletian's Palace, Brac also produces some of the best olive oil in Dalmatia. Our itinerary explores the island's secluded coves and clear deep-water bays, perfect for swimming, snorkeling and diving, and includes a visit to the picturesque seaside town of Milna.
Other itineraries feature sailing to the islands of Hvar and Vis, exploring ancient settlements and ruins, visits to local olive oil producers and boutique wineries, cultural walks and traditional island cuisine. The Pakleni Islands, a tiny archipelago off the coast of Hvar, is another not-to-be-missed destination famous for its hidden coves and beaches and gourmet island cuisine.
Our sailing itineraries are totally private and our yachts will not be shared with any other persons other than you and your party. While ideal for two persons and a skipper, overnight bookings may be made for up to four individuals. The day sail will accommodate up to seven.
Our skippers all hold international yachting and radio licenses and are experienced in the waters of the Adriatic. The 40-foot sailing yachts were built in 2006 and feature a three-cabin-layout with two bathrooms, a bathing platform with swimming ladder and shower, furling main and genua sails, cockpit table, 40 hp engine and tender.
