Villa Karmen’s stunning location has no shortage of the ‘wow factor’ - sweeping views of the sea and mountains, a pool perched on a hillside terrace, and sunsets that dazzle. With no neighbours to detract from its privacy, the villa - with its two self-catering apartments, outdoor terraces and shared pool - is an oasis of tranquility and visual pleasures. The house and landscaped gardens fit seamlessly into the natural surroundings, and were built from local materials and stone quarried on the island of Vrnik off the coast of Korcula. Two comfortable one-bedroom apartments feature double bedroom with bathroom and open-plan kitchen/dining/living room. Each apartment has its own private patio with sea views and access to the sun terrace and pool. The couple who own the villa live quietly in a separate apartment on the ground floor. We had the pleasure of meeting them on a recent trip to Orebic and were delighted with their knowledge and insights into the region.
The historic town centre of Orebic, shops, restaurants, beaches and the ferry to Korcula are a short fifteen-minute walk away.
