Reclining by the poolside, high above the Bay of Rabac, you might just think you're in heaven. A sweeping panorama of blue sea and green mountains stretches towards the horizon, sailboats trace arcs in the bay below, and the scent of rosemary and lemon perfumes a summer day. Villa Annette - a contemporary fusion of Mediterranean and Istrian traditions - captures the imagination like few other properties on this northern Adriatic littoral. The town of Rabac is a mile away. Originally a small fishing village, Rabac is today a popular summer resort with a marina and scores of rock and pebble beaches. Ferry service to the islands of Cres and Losinj is a half-hour drive north to Brestova. Rabac is well-connected to Istria's medieval hilltop villages, to the vineyards and wine roads that meander through its valleys, and to the historic Roman city of Pula.
