Learning a few words of the local language is a great way to meet local people and break down barriers. We have tried to make it easier for you by including a glossary which explains the meaning of many of the words you might encounter in Croatia. In addition to this glossary, we have highlighted all the Croatian words which have been used throughout the website texts. Words in Croatian are underlined with a thin dotted line, like this.
