This newly restored Baroque townhouse is a perfect pied-à-terre in the heart of the historic Old Town, a short walk from the Pile Gates and polished pedestrian boulevard of Stradun. Named after the 15th century Church of St. Domino, the house is situated on a tiny square, flanked by a restaurant and outdoor terrace, and surrounded by a warren of old stone houses and narrow cobbled passageways. It has six residences, spread over three floors, each accommodating two persons. The larger residences feature a living room, dining room-kitchen, bedroom and shower/ bathroom. The smaller residences have a kitchen nook, bedroom and shower/ bathroom. All are elegantly furnished with designer textiles and bedlinens, oil paintings and period furniture. Tall, shuttered, double-pane windows are specially insulated to reduce the noise of foot traffic, church bells and children in the street below. Fresh flowers and organic bath products add a touch of luxury and style. Restaurants, bars, cafés, theatre and concert venues are all at your doorstep. The city's splendid concentration of art and culture turns an ordinary morning coffee or stroll to the harbour into an event to be remembered. The cappuccino and sugar-frosted krafne at Stradun's Café Cele make a delicious diversion from breakfast at home. Be there at 9 o'clock when the bells of St. Blaise (Sveti Vlaho) ring in the hour.
