Folie à Deux is a beautiful seaside villa set above Duboka Bay on Brac Island's stunning southern coastline. Its elevated position, just a few metres from the beach, offers splendid views of the pine-fringed bay and sea, and Hvar Island in the distance. Spacious interiors and the use of traditional island materials - Brac stone sinks, fireplaces and terraces - gives the property an air of casual luxury. A large open plan kitchen-dining-living room on the ground floor is a fabulous place for cooking, relaxing and entertaining. It has a beautiful stone fireplace and large farmers table that pulls out to seat twelve. Multiple double french doors open up onto the garden and terrace and overlook the pool and sundeck below. A second living-dining room upstairs provides intimate areas for quiet evening meals, reading or simply basking in the glow of a log fire. It too has its own balcony-terrace and splendid sea views. The villa has five bedrooms and three bathrooms. Hardwood floors and designer bed linens add extra special touches.
Folie à Deux is the perfect place to enjoy Brac Island's spectacular scenery and the crystal, clear water of its secluded coves and pebble beaches. Duboka Bay offers fantastic swimming and safe mooring for boats and yachts. The villa provides kayaks, bicycles, lie lows, beach towels, water shoes and water toys. The pretty fishing village of Milna is only two kilometres away. It has an outdoor farmers’ market where you can buy local olive oil and fresh produce, a bakery, grocery shop, restaurants and konobas.
During your stay, a gourmet dinner will be served in the villa, prepared by a local chef. It will feature Brac island specialities, such as premium white Adriatic fish, roast lamb, beef tenderloin and octopus 'peka style'. The dinner will include a main course with appetizers, grilled vegetables, seasonal greens and salad, cheese, dessert and local Dalmatian wine.
For a larger party of family or friends, Folie à Deux may be rented together with Villa Duboka.
