Our Bespoke Sailing holiday on the island of Brac invites you to discover the lifestyle and pleasures of one of Dalmatia’s most desirable destinations. Brac is famous for its olive oil and island cuisine, its historic towns and villages, and its beautiful deep-water bays. Its attractions include the most beautiful stretch of sandy beach in the whole Adriatic, the famed Golden Horn (Zlatni rat) near the town of Bol.
The holiday features a week’s accommodation in one of our seaside villas or cottages and a day of sailing aboard a private, skippered 40-foot sailing yacht. The day’s itinerary will focus on the western coast of Brac and the eastern coast of nearby Solta. Secluded coves and bays offer fantastic swimming in some of the clearest, cleanest water in the Adriatic. The use of tender and snorkeling gear is included, as is lunch and wine prepared and served on the boat by your skipper.
This holiday can also be tailored to include two days of sailing to Hvar and the Pakleni Islands. It features morning tea and breakfast, lunch with wine, independent sightseeing of the beautiful Renaissance town of Hvar, overnight anchorage on the Pakleni Islands, sailing along the western coast of Hvar Island and swimming/snorkeling in quiet sheltered bays. Our Gourmet Notes provide firsthand descriptions of the islands’ iconic konobas and restaurants, most of which can only be reached by boat.
Our sailing itineraries are totally private and our yachts will not be shared with any other persons other than you and your party. While ideal for two persons and a skipper, overnight bookings may be made for up to four individuals. The day sail will accommodate up to seven.
Our skippers all hold international yachting and radio licenses and are experienced in the waters of the Adriatic. The 40-foot sailing yachts were built in 2006 and feature a three cabin layout with two bathrooms. They feature a bathing platform with swimming ladder and shower, furling main and genua sails, cockpit table, 40 hp engine and tender.
