The Belvedere is a beautiful private residence in a quiet hillside neighbourhood overlooking the sea and town of Supetar. It features three cottage-apartments grouped around a courtyard and shared pool. Built from traditional materials and local Brac stone, the property has been meticulously restored in accordance with architectural features typical of the region, and showcases the craftsmanship of the island’s acclaimed stonemasons. Lavender, cypress and bougainvillea embellish sunny corners of the garden and terraced patios. A konoba and BBQ area at the front of the property provides a perfect setting for al fresco dining or relaxing in the evening with a glass of wine. Guests are welcome to help themselves to fresh greens, fruit and vegetables from the kitchen garden and orchard.
The Belvedere has two traditional-style stone cottages. The smaller one, at the back of the property, has sea and garden views and faces the pool. It features an open plan kitchen-dining-living room and shower/bath on the ground floor and double bedroom with dormer window on the first floor. The larger cottage, built into the hillside, has two separate apartments - one on the upper floor that is accessed from the pool, the other on the ground floor that is accessed from the courtyard. Both have an open plan kitchen-dining-living room, shower/bath and double bedroom, with garden and partial sea views.
The owners of the property, who live in Zagreb, have a house at the entrance to the estate that they use on occasion throughout the year. At least one member of the family will always be on hand to greet and assist guests as needed.
The property is ideal for a family or group of friends, but equally delightful for a couple travelling alone.
